Save / Restore Workspaces

From time to time, you may want to create a backup / restore point for all your workspaces. For example, if you are making wide-spread changes to workspace layouts or color/theme settings, you may want to revert those changes and go back to the layout from your backup copy.

You may create as many restore points as you wish, then choose which restore point to load.

Create a New Restore Point

  1. Click the Application Menu in the upper right-corner of the application and select Settings.
    Result: The Settings dialog box opens, with six tabs from which to choose.
  2. Open the Workspace tab.
  3. Click Create new Restore Point.
    Result: A new restore point is added.

Restore Workspaces from a Point in Time

  1. Click the Application Menu in the upper right-corner of the application and select Settings.
    Result: The Settings dialog box opens, with six tabs from which to choose.
  2. Open the Workspace tab.
  3. Select a time/date restore point from the drop-down list, and click Load.
    Result: The application will load your workspaces from that point in time.
