Search News by Symbol or Keyword

News headlines can be searched for a specific keyword (or string of key words), or by symbol. Presently, news feeds are only tagged for stock symbols.

Keyword Search

The Keyword search is performed on headlines only. The entire string of text that you enter must be present in the headline exactly as entered in order for the search to match.

• Type the keyword into the "keyword" search box at the top of the panel, or open the Settings and enter the keyword in the Sources tab.

Symbol Search

Symbol Search is available only for equity symbols. Any story where the symbol is mentioned will appear in the panel.

• Enter the equity symbol in the Symbol field at the top left of the panel, and press Enter.
