Chart Time Range

The Time Range (sometimes referred to as aggregation) defines the amount of data that will be visible on the chart. It will automatically set the Interval to display the maximum amount of data that can be viewed on the chart.

To Set the Chart Time Range

  1. Click the Time Range button at the top of the chart.
    Result: The Chart Time Range dialog box displays.
  2. Select a Range / Period.
    • Today - Interval defaults to a 1 minute chart.
    • 1D (1 Day) - Interval defaults to a 1 minute chart.
    • 1W (1 Week) - Interval defaults to a 15 minute chart.
    • 1M (1 Month) - Interval defaults to an hourly chart.
    • 3M (3 Months) - Interval defaults to a daily chart.
    • 6M (6 Months) - Interval defaults to a daily chart.
    • YTD (Year-to-Date) - Interval defaults to a daily chart.
    • 1Y (1 Year) - Interval defaults to a daily chart.
    • 5Y (5 Year) - Interval defaults to a monthly chart.
    • Custom. When this option is chosen, you must set a Range in the From and To Date fields.
  3. Click Save.
